Do you have kids between ages 6 and 15 in the Long Island area that would like to train with international soccer coaches? A select number of players will even be offered the opportunity to journey to Spain and continue their training. Any experience level is welcome! Read more here.

This summer, Syosset, NY and the surrounding area have many exciting opportunities for kids and adults both to get out and be active in the community.

These opportunities include camps such as the American Theatre Dance Workshop, the Art League of Long Island, Camp Invention, and many others. More on these can be found below.

We’re thrilled to announce that we have teamed with the local community to contribute to these outdoor adventures and are offering our international soccer camp for the second year.

Who are we?

The Real Madrid Foundation is the international soccer team’s social arm to the community. We represent the club’s soul, with a mission of giving back to the community by offering programs that represent our key values, such as leadership, humility, and respect.

More about this can be found here.

The Read Madrid football club was founded in 1902 and was honored by the FIFA as the “greatest football club of the 20th century.” The club has accomplished: 12 European Cups, 1 FIFA Club World Cup, 2 UEFA Cups, 32 LaLiga Championships, and 19 Copa del Rey.

What is the camp?

The camp is one of many social and athletic opportunities offered by the Real Madrid Foundation to bring actual Real Madrid coaches to a multitude of communities and provide an affordable soccer camp for kids of all experience levels.

This is our second year setting up these camps, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with our success last year. Hundreds of boys and girls participated in our week long events in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Daily activities included skill workshops, basics of athleticism, field dynamics, and competition.

This year’s camp in Long Island is going to be held at Our Lady of Mercy Academy (OLMA). OLMA was established in Syosset in 1928. Since then, they have been a pillar in the local community, with a focus on their faith based academia and athletics. Their 96 acre world-class facilities make this an incredible location for this year’s camp.

Other opportunities in the area

Our passion at the Real Madrid Foundation is providing opportunities for social, athletic, and community growth. We’re proud to be part of a number of other opportunities in the surrounding area. There are many camps and activities taking place this summer, and we encourage everyone to get out the check them out.
